Federation of Voluntary Organisations for Rural Development in Karnataka (FEVOURD-K )
We help in boosting the productivity and effectiveness of our member organizations.
FEVOURD-K is a federation of over 800 voluntary organisations committed to strengthening the developmental indices in Karnataka through social, economic and cultural empowerment of deprived communities, environmental conservation and the promotion of a vibrant democracy in the state.Founded on 14th March, 2013 FEVOURD-K has a membership base in all the 31 districts of Karnataka. A robust voluntary sector – independent of governments, bureaucracy, and private corporations - is necessary for sustainable development and for democracy to thrive.

Collective voice of voluntary organizations in support of marginalized communities in their determined pursuit for dignity, social justice and sustainable development
OUR MISSION
Ensure solidarity among voluntary organizations for collective voice and action on issues that affect the sector. Strengthen voluntary organizations to help them better accomplish their missions. Promote a robust civil society to protect democratic values and to advance human progress. Create inter-sectoral synergies for innovations, shared resources, and effective impact.

Women Headed Organization Conference
FEVOURDK in collaboration with Akkamahadevi Women University, Vijayapura, and Ghaithanya Sahakari Bank Ltd, Vijayapura organized a two day workshop at Vijayapura Women University. Around 300 women-led organizations participated. Many reputed experts facilitated the program. 25 achievers in the field of women related programs were honored. The program had a deep impact for women-headed organizations.29-Aug-2019
State level workshop on : VISION BUILDING to Governing Council members
A session was conducted on Vision Building for three days at Kudalasangama, Bagalakote district. 115 organizations participated along with our newly elected body of Governing Council members, The program was facilitated by Christ University faculty.03-Jul-2019

FEVOURD-K in collaboration with Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, New Delhi organized a two days state level workshop on Micro Finance & Development at KVK, Shivamogga. Around 87 organizations participated in the program. Various Micro Finance practitioners shared case studies on success and challenges of micro finance programs.19-May-2019

State level workshop on Digitization
FEVOURD-K in collaboration with Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, New Delhi & Christ University, Bengaluru organized a two day state level workshop on 5 & 6th March 2019 at SCM House, Bengaluru. Around 75 organizations participated in the program. Christ University, Dept. of Media & Communication facilitated the program. The program focused on the importance of digital presence to the participant organisations.
